NCOAGA Objectives

The objectives of the Association are to reestablish the role of the
Noncommissioned Officer in the Vermont Air National Guard chain of command
by:

a. Making available to commanders the collective leadership abilities,
knowledge, and experience of the Association members.

b. Improving standards of discipline and esprit de corps within the
Vermont Air National Guard.

c. Encouraging an attitude of unified purpose within the
Noncommissioned Officer Corps and according to tried and accepted military
traditions and customs.

d. To promote and support the ANG Noncommissioned Officer Academy as an
institution of professional leadership techniques.

e. To promote and support a policy of Americanism: Operation
Patriotism. Endeavor to adopt a nationwide program of dedication to God and
Country.

f. To foster and improve the Air National Guard of all states and its
relations with the general public.

g. To promote association, friendship, understanding, and cooperation
among all members of the Association.

h. To promote better understanding and cooperation between the Total
Force components.

i. To promote and foster activities and programs of benefit to members
and their families.

j. All Association funds from whatsoever source derived shall be used
exclusively to promote the objectives source derived shall be used

k. Utilize available resources to promote the objectives for which the
Association is organized.

l. Promote and support the ANG Recruiting and Retention programs
through initiatives that encourage young men and women to become and remain
members of the Air National Guard
