Young Heroes Award
The Young Heroes Award is back! After a twelve year hiatus, the recently reenergized Non-Commissioned Officer Academy Graduate Association is in the final stages of reintroducing this unique program.
The Young Heroes Award seeks to bolster the hope and courage of young victims with life threatening illnesses or injuries and to lend support to their family and friends. The award is primarily for those who have struggled through surgery, chemotherapy, radiation treatments, physical therapy, or other similar types of treatment. The Young Heroes program pays tribute to the courage and dignity of real-life young heroes whose battle against disease or injury might otherwise go unrecognized. Recipients of the Young Heroes Award range in age from 2 to 17.
For more information about the Young Heroes Award, please contact Command Chief Master Sergeant William LaPointe at 802-660-5328, Senior Master Sergeant Brian Warner at 802-660-5309 or Senior Master Sergeant Cathy Blodgett at 802-660-5228.
